So it has obviously taken me a little over a month to write. I will try my hardest to keep this up at least once a month to give a special update on our Baby Caroline.

Sweet Caroline
I've probably changed 3 diapers in my life and don't know a whole lot about what to do with a baby but I do know I'm so excited about meeting my wiggly little Caroline who I've been talking to these last nine months. As most of you know, I love our yellow lab, Briley so very much. She is my buddy- our first baby. So how much more love will I have for our first human baby girl? I can't fathom!
So most of you know I strive to be prepared, aka, have a little OCD. I have tons of notes I've made from how to swaddle to different parenting styles based on the 109 books I've read. However, I know Caroline's arrival is going to blow me away... I will never be 100% prepared for the real thing! I am hoping and I know that my natural motherly instincts will kick in!
Regardless, it's going to be an amazing time in our life and two things are for sure. First, I have the best husband and teammate I could ever ask for. I've watched him lead our family and love me deeply. I can't wait to see Sean be a dad. And two, I am a child of God and product of His never-ending grace which I am going to need extra of very soon!
I hope you join us as we take on this new stage in life, by checking in on our blog. We are so thankful for all of our friends and family who are experiencing life with us! Please pray for Baby Caroline's arrival into the world. 6 weeks and counting....
