5 Months and Growing Strong

Lily had a great month!  We celebrated our first Valentines day with a trip to Lala and Papa's house.  Lily isn't the biggest fan of the car but she loved the visit!:)  Lily is becoming more and more of a little person and showing her true personality   She is very vocal when she needs something but very chill and sweet otherwise!

Here are some highlights from this month:
-At her 4 month appointment Lily was 50th percentile for height and 15th percentile for weight.  The doctor also commented that she was one of the strongest 4 month olds she had ever seen! Go Super Lily!:)
-Lily is continuing to enjoy tummy time.  She will stay on her tummy for almost all of her wake time. We love that because she is building some great muscles for those crawling days to come!
-This past month Lily learned to "self soothe" for naps.  She now takes 3 good naps and one cat nap in the late afternoon all by herself.  We still use the ergo when we are on the go and of course she loves that!
-Lily is continuing to sleep 7-7 most days!  Such a great little sleeper!
-She is a big roller.  One day I found her turned completely the opposite way in her crib!
-Lily loves to sleep on her side with her hands on each side of her face.  It's the sweetest thing to see!!
-Drool and chewing on things is constant so we might have some teeth fairly soon
-Lily loves her bumpo and exersaucer.  They keep her busy when we are cooking, playing and eating dinner!
-Lily is very ticklish, especially underneath her arms... she just laughs and smiles when you kiss her sides!:)
-Lily enjoys Caroline singing to her and reading books at nap time
-She is really discovering her voice and greets everyone with screeches of joy ... sometimes she even surprises herself!
-Lily has learned to "blow bubbles" and it makes her big sister laugh so much!

Lily is such a precious sweet soul.  Becoming more and more of a little person in our family, she is such a joy to be around!  We love you so much Lily! Looking forward to what your next "trick" may be while at the same time savoring you as a sweet precious little baby!!!!
