7 months and Springtime!

What a wonderful month we have had!  Lily is just a blooming flower:). Our beautiful baby girl is growing and changing everyday!

Lily has had a big month!  Here are some highlights:

-Lily is starting to reach out to us with her arms... It's the sweetest feeling!
-She is starting to talk more and more and likes to say bababa and make silly throat sounds
-Lily is rolling all over the place these days!  She definitely prefers her tummy and likes to sleep on her tummy too.  We think she is starting to practice crawling .. Not sure if we are ready for that!!
-She had a great report at her 6 month checkup!  She is about 20th percentile in weight and 50th in height... Probably will be long and lean just like her big sister!
-Lilys hair continues to fall out with new lighter hair coming in.  She also has a new fairly long curl on the top of her head... Pretty cute!  So curious to see what her hair will end up looking like!
-She continues to enjoy playing outside, swinging at home and the park and going on walks with Caroline and playing in the grass watching the big girls in the neighborhood run around!!  She gets so excited she jumps up and down! Lily will be out there running with them this time next year... Hard to believe!
-Speaking of grass.. Lily loves to eat it too!  Actually, there isn't much Lily doesn't like to eat or put in her mouth!
-Lily is a good eater... Always has been!  But she loves table food already!  She could do without the pureed baby food... She prefers the real stuff!  Lily is already eating mumums, puffs, chunks of avocado, banana, pears and sweet potatoes and even a ritz cracker (by accident!) :)
-We have got a very curious girl on our hands that doesn't want to miss any of the action... She will let you know if she wants to be in the louder room and will even roll over and turn her head completely around to see what's going on!
-Caroline and Lily continue to develop a precious friendship.  Caroline is such a sweet big sister taking care of her and making sure she always has a toy to play with, and a blanket to cover her.  She even reads to her and "helps" change Lily's diaper.  Their favorite thing right now is when Caroline blows on Lily's tummy ... They giggle and giggle!  It's the most precious sight!!
-Lily's favorite toys right now are her exersaucer, johnny jumper, nesting cups, books and anything she can bang on the floor or put in her mouth.  She is also becoming very fond of her stuffed animals and loves to cuddle them.
-Last but not least Lily was baptized at our church.  It was a lovely service and a lot of our family was able to be with Lily on this special day!

What a special month with our cuddly little baby girl!  Lily thank you for bringing so much fun and laughter to our family! We thank God for you everyday ... you are our gift!  Next month we head to the South Carolina for your first beach experience!  Should be so much fun!
