11 Months Old

Anna Claire has had a busy month crawling around.  She loves exploring and getting into everything. She has the fastest crawl in town too.  She loves playing with her toy cars, chewing on her toys, blocks, watching airplanes in the sky and reading her books.  She is also loving her first Christmas season... and her sisters are enjoying teaching her everything about it. She can now say "daddy" to her daddy... and mommy may be a little jealous.  She is trying to pull up more and more and loves to be pushed on ride toys.  Anna Claire I can't believe you are about to be one years old.  You are a sweet, strong soul ... please stay our baby forever!

10 Months Old

This month Anna Claire had some big highlights!  She is officially on the move... crawling all around the house!  And now that she is so mobile, she loves to put any and everything in her mouth!  She has eaten some leaves and even a closed staple!  She is getting more consistant with sleeping through the night and we appreciate that!  She is going through some sepration anxiety and doesnt like to be away from momma too long, but thats okay of course!:)  She now says "NaNa" for bananan which she loves to eat and says "da" when she sees a dog. Smart baby!  She continues to love to dance, listen to music, read books and explore.  Anna Claire, thank you for being such a ray of sunshine to us all... you are one of the sweetest, happiest babies ever!  We love you and look forward to showing you our Christmas traditions next month!

9 Months Old!

Anna Claire has had a big month!  She has started to say "mama" and "dada" and still crawls backwards but is so close to the real thing. She loves the "choo choo train" down the street, and notices it each time it passes by.  She enjoys taking walks in the stroller with sisters and looking around at all the nature. She continues to enjoy books and songs and moving around on her tummy backwards on the floor.  She is finally down to two naps and sleeping wonderfully.  She has started to make the most silly sweet sounds when she see something she likes, especially balloons and her water cup.  She loves to play "drop the water" game too! Anna Claire, we couldn't have imagined our family without you in it!  You complete us!:)

8 Months Old

Anna Claire is 8 months old.  She loves to crawl backwards, watching dogs, her sisters and familiar faces! She has started to attend church nursery and is doing great!  She is really enjoying her morning oatmeal and likes to eat real food now.  She loves to laugh after taking a sip of water too.  Anna Claire is very observant, taking in all that is around her.  She is constantly looking around for different noises she hears and watching every move her sisters make.  She has even noticed other babies... and gently pats them.  This makes momma sad... since Anna Claire is just growing up way to fast! Anna Claire was baptized this month and her very own PaPa took part in the special service.   No matter how big you get, you will always be our baby Anna Claire!

7 Months Old

What a big month we have had!  Anna Claire is officially trying to crawl.  She is getting up on her knees and doing pushups.  She is crawling backwards but not yet forwards.  Big sisters are so excited to have her moving soon but mommy and daddy not so much!

She had a great 6 month check up!  She is about 60th percentile all around... much bigger than her sisters at this age.  Her hair continues to lighten up too.

Anna Claire is a great napper and is down to about 2.5 naps a day. She is talking a lot more this month too and loves to say "DaDa"!  She has started solid foods and so far loves her sweet potatoes, avacados, pears and apples!  She especially loves her puff cheerios.

Some of Anna Claire's favorite things are balls, fans, animals, songs and music and of course her sisters!  Anna Claire went to her first play and puppet show this month and she was engaged all 45 minutes of it!  She had a blast!  Big sister Caroline is such a big help in entertaining her while mommy cooks by holding her on her tummy and scooting her around on the hardwood floor.  Anna Claire LOVES this!  It's so special to see all of the sister bonds growing stronger everyday!  Let's pray it stays that way!

Anna Claire, you are such a sweet baby doll - fun and easygoing and of course extra cuddly.  We love you!

6 months old

We can't believe Anna Claire is 1/2 year old!!  What a fun month!

This month Anna Claire tried Oatmeal.  Let's just say she isn't the biggest fan.  But she shows a ton of interest in real food especially when she is in grabbing distance from it.  She continues to "screech" a lot and is giggling and when she is tired or hungry she says "mmgee"... pretty adorable!

Her LaLa and mommy have come up with a nickname "Sugabug" this month!  Let's see if it sticks. Anna Claire is still super strong and likes to lift up to her belly button during tummy time.  We are practicing sitting up and she almost has it.  She is starting to really enjoy books, especially pictures of birds and dogs and kittens.  She likes her exersaucer and johnny jumper and her big sisters especially like when they can "jump" her in them.  She got a little sick this month (and in this photo) but she is a good sport about it.  We will be going on our first beach trip soon!  We love you!

5 months old

Anna Claire had her first big trip to the lake this month with friends.  Although she didn't enjoy the car ride too much, she loved the lake and the company!  She slept wonderfully and and enjoyed her boat rides and watching all of the little big girls play.

Here are some highlights from this month:

-She loves her exersaucer, bumpo, outside, watching her sisters jump and sucking on mommys finger!
-She has started to roll from side to side and sleeping on her side
-She continues to love tummy time and singing
-She loves her hands and sucking on them!
-She still loves her dog Briley so much and watches her every move
-She is starting to enjoy swinging outside on the big swing and baby swing
-She tried oatmeal and didn't like it so much!

Anna Claire is such a precious love!  She is super content and such a happy baby while at the same time tells you when she needs something.  We love you AC!

4 Months and a Screech!

Anna Claire is turning into a baby ...not so much newborn now!  She is so smiley, sweet and go with the flow but will definitely tell you when she is ready for sleep or a change of scenery!  This time last year is when we found out Anna Claire was going to be a part of our family... what a wonderful surprise and gift from God!

Here are some highlights from Anna Claire's 4th month:

-Anna Claire loves to look at faces .. sisters, mommy and daddy, grandparents, neighbors and babydolls!
-She continues to LOVE outside and her increasing wake times have allowed us to do a lot of playing and looking around!
-This month Anna Claire has found her voice!  She loves to "screech" very very loudly especially when she's super excited!  We are trying to teach her to respond a little bit more quietly but she's already learning she needs to be loud in this family in order to have a say!  
-Anna Claire loves her hands! Hardly ever a moment you don't catch her with her hands in her mouth or grabbing a toy.
-Anna Claire had her first giggle this month!  She is still working on the big laugh but loves to open her mouth really wide and smile.
-She is starting to grab everything!  Mommy's hair, necklaces, clothing, her sisters
-Her wake time is increasing and we love being able to play with her more and more!
-Anna Claire is still not a huge fan of the car seat specifically on our trips to ballet but she is learning to go with it!
-She loves to read books with mommy and big sisters
-Anna Claire is a good night sleeper... likes to eat A LOT before bedtime and then wakes only once at night and waking up happy in the morning!
-Napping is still ergo/crib but next month we will be trying some self soothing so we will have longer crib time! 
-Anna Claire loves her ball and to hold and lick it while she is propped up on her boppy or bouncer. 
-Anna Claire enjoys hearing her mommy and sisters sing and her favorite is "Itsy Bitsy Spider"!
-She wants to sit up so much. She tries so hard and falls over but she is quite determined!
-She loves rolling to her side

Next month will be a biggie... starting rice cereal and trying out some new toys like the bumpo and exersaucer!  Anna Claire you are such a great example of love, beauty and gentleness and determination. You amaze us more and more each day and teach us so much about life and love! Our hearts have grown bigger and our world has been changed for the best!

3 Months Old!

Anna Claire has had a big 3rd month!  She has grown so much in size and personality!  This month she has truly found her voice and loves to "talk" back and forth with us.  She still loves her bouncer and watching her silly sisters dance and sing.  She has discovered her hands and loves to suck on them.  She is starting to have longer wake periods, quietly observing her surroundings especially outside!  She continues to love tummy time, hitting hanging toys and her new favorites are reading books and her dog Briley!

2 Months old!

5 weeks:

-Likes to grab my shirt while nursing

-Sleeping longer stretches at night

-Strong head control and loves tummy time

-Enjoys playing in her crib looking at her mobile and hanging toys

6 weeks:

-Practicing good crib naps

-Loving her bouncer while mommy cooks

-Loving her baths now

-Very interactive; cooing and smiling

-Loves "sunny" rooms

7 weeks:

-My first ER visit- have the croup!:(

-Breaking out of that swaddle!

8 weeks:

-Raises chest off and head up during tummy time
-First walks around the block with mommy and sisters

Anna Claire has had a great month despite her first visit to the ER.  The whole family got a nasty virus and of course with all the kisses Anna Claire gets, she got it too!  But she has been a huge trooper through it all and shows us her smiles in between sleeping.  Anna Claire, you are so incredibly loved by your family and your two big sisters! Looking forward to a beautiful spring ahead introducing you to flowers, bumblebees and green grass!

1 Month Old

What a wonderful first month we have had with our Anna Claire!  Big sisters Caroline and Lily just adore you and want to constantly kiss you.  I think the feeling is mutual as Anna Claire can't keep her eyes off them! Both big sisters have been huge helpers and show so much love and maturity.

Anna Claire is such a go-with-the-flow baby thus far.  A good eater and sleeper, she keeps up with our families busy schedule! She loves "talking" and listening to coos, smiling, tummy time and listening to her sisters sing to her.  She is so strong, already lifting up her head to look all around as she discovers the world around her. 

Anna Claire you are a true blessing in our life.  You’ve only been here a short time and already you’ve brought more joy into this family than we thought possible.  I am honored and humbled to be your mother, and I can’t wait to see the person you become.  But I also CAN wait, so don’t grow up too fast

Anna Claire has arrived!

Anna Claire is here! Anna Claire Coleman was born on January 19, 2016 at 1:28 PM weighing in at 8 pounds 3 ounces and 20.5 inches long!  She is beautiful and a good mix of looks between her two sisters! We are in love!!!

As soon as you were born I felt ALL the emotions.  I don’t know if a mother can ever properly describe the feelings that rush in when she first meets her child...  It’s awe, and pure bliss, and shock, and recognition.  As soon as I saw you, I knew you.  And I loved you with a love so fierce, so all-consuming.
